Privacy Policy — Tazelyqo

This Privacy Policy describes how Tazelyqo ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our language learning mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Nickname / Display name — chosen by you, shown on leaderboards
• Email address — only if you choose to sign in with Google (otherwise you can use Guest mode without providing email)
• Profile photo — only if you sign in with Google (optional)
• Anonymous user ID — automatically generated by Firebase Authentication to identify your account on our servers

1.2 Learning Activity

• Lessons completed, words learned, achievements unlocked
• XP, streak count, daily quest progress
• Selected native language and learning language
• Flashcard mastery status (which cards you've learned)
• Custom decks you create and shared decks you save
• Leaderboard rank and weekly XP

1.3 Purchase Information

• Records of in-app purchases (gems, premium subscription) processed through Google Play Billing
• We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment details — these are handled entirely by Google Play

1.4 Diagnostic and Crash Data

• Crash reports (stack traces, device model, Android version) via Firebase Crashlytics, to fix bugs
• Basic analytics on which features are used, to improve the app

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for:

• Providing and improving the language learning experience
• Syncing your progress across devices when you sign in
• Displaying you on the global leaderboard (only your nickname and XP are visible to others)
• Processing in-app purchases
• Fixing crashes and bugs
• Sending you optional daily reminders (you can disable these in Settings)

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the app:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics) — for account management, progress sync, and crash diagnostics. Firebase Privacy
• Google Play Billing — for handling in-app purchases. Google Privacy
• Google AdMob (if and when enabled in a future version) — for displaying advertisements. AdMob Privacy

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS / TLS encryption
• Account data is stored on Google Firebase servers (Google Cloud infrastructure)
• Local progress is stored on your device using Android SharedPreferences

5. Your Rights and Controls

• View your data: open the Profile screen in the app
• Edit your nickname: Settings → Change name
• Reset progress: Settings → Reset
• Sign out: Settings → Sign out (your local progress is preserved)
• Delete account: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your data from our servers within 30 days
• Disable notifications: Settings → Notifications

6. Children's Privacy

Tazelyqo is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.

8. International Users

If you use Tazelyqo from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred internationally. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
